E & C Technician

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
*Understands accepted troubleshooting guidelines for PLC, control valves and all PLC logic.
*Posses overall knowledge of the installation, operation, repair, of assigned equipment.
*Maintains sufficient inventory of electrical supplies and repair parts to meet most emergency situations.
*Takes care of company vehicle, keeping it clean and organized.
*Reports any unsafe practices or actions to supervisor.
*Continues to look for better and more efficient ways of doing job.
*Keeps lines of communication open to supervisor and other company employees while meeting the needs of all customers.
*Makes call outs on equipment.
*Works with project managers, engineering and contractors on all new construction projects.
*Maintain all controls, monitor alarms and sensor tests.
*Troubleshooting and scheduling electrical maintenance for the assigned location.
*Solid understanding of electrical motor control.
*Knowledge of electrical prints and capable of making appropriate red-line changes to them.
*Assist PLC programming personnel.
*Good understanding of PLC cause and effect.
*Supervise electrical contractors.
*Other duties as assigned.

*Position will be located in Watford City, ND and may be filled at various levels depending on experience and job skills of successful candidate.

*Regularly bends, stoops, moves from ground level to higher levels, raises/lifts from ground level a load up to 50 lbs., manually transports a load up to 75 lbs., and applies up to 150 foot pounds of torque.
*Regularly gets into and out of vehicles and rides over rough roads.
*Walks an average of 5 miles per day, up to 7 miles per day.
*Candidates may be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing requirements,
*Subject to overtime and call-outs.
